+Learn the basics of electronics, and how to build basic electronic cicruits.
 +
+This class is beginner focused with no prior knowledge of electronics or computer programming required.  As long as you can figure out how to turn on a light switch, you should be good ;)
 +
+Attendees of this class will learn :
 +
+  * Basic prinicipals of how circuits work
+  * How to build and "engineer" your own circuits with common components such as switches, buttons, LEDs, capacitors and resistors.
+  * Basics of using micro-controllers such as the Arduino.
+  * Building and programming circuits using the Arduino.
 +
+In addition to learning the basics of building circuits, attendees will go home with everything they need to build circuits with the Arduino protyping board (including the Arduino!)
 +
+This class is targeted towards adults and young-adults.  Children interested in electronics aged 11-13 are welcome to attend with an adult.  Attendees over the age of 18 will be given a 1 month, limited membership to the Lansing Makers Network.  All proceeds from this class will go to the Lansing Makers Network.
 +
+It is recommended that attendees bring their own laptops.  If you don't have one available, we can arrange to have one for you.

 +FAQs
 +
 +
 +
+What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
 +
+The Lansing Makers Network is located in Lansing's Old Town, at the corner of Grand Rive Ave and Cedar St. This is within walking distance of the Lansing River Trail and CATA Route 14.  We have a parking lot along the east side of the building.
 +
 +
 +
 +Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
 +
+Yes.  Please contact Nick Kwiatkowski (nick@theflexgroup.org) to transfer your ticket.
 +
 +
 +
 +What is the refund policy?
 +
+We can refund tickets (minus credit card fees) up to the time that we buy the equipment and materials, about 10 days before the event.  You can always transfer your ticket to somebody else.
 +
 +
 +
+The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
 +
+Sure, but we would appreciate the heads up if somebody is unable to attend.
 +
 +
 +
+I already have an Arduino and some other electronic parts.  Can I bring these instead of having them bought through the class?
 +
+Sure.  Please contact me before you sign up for the class so we don't charge you for the parts.  We price the class at nearly the cost of all the components that you take home.  You won't save much (if anything) if you bring your own if you have to buy them seperately.
